酵母双杂交是利用遗传学方法在酵母真核细胞体内研究蛋白质之间相互作用的非常有效的一种分子生物学技术,被广泛应用于蛋白质组学、细胞信号转导和功能基因组学等领域,已成为分子生物学研究领域的重要实验手段之一,获得了许多有价值的重要发现。随着分子生物学的发展,在酵母双杂交的基础上又建立起了酵母单杂、反向双杂交、三杂交及核外双杂交等多项技术,并已经成功地运用于蛋白质之间、蛋白质与DNA、RNA和配体之间相互作用的研究。对酵母双杂交及其相关技术与应用研究进展进行了综述。可以预见,在人类、水稻和拟南芥等模式生物基因组测序完成后,酵母双杂交及其衍生技术将在功能基因组学和蛋白质组学的研究中发挥越来越重要的作用。
